Dr. Bauer has served in various capacities at Michigan State University, most recently as Associate Vice President for Administration and as President of the MSU Research Foundation. He is one of the authors of the MSU Energy Transition plan, owns renewable energy power plants, and has done extensive research and consulting on renewable energy sources.
